Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows with some form of arcane energy.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Chosen to be frozen she spends most of her days with the rest of the of frozen hatchlings enjoying her eternal youth. While some days she becomes overcome by anxiety because she feels she will out live her parents, but she shakes off the feeling, for she knows her parents won't die for many thousands of years. While others would be more pessimistic, she realizes the cave they live in is one of the safest and most secluded caves in their world.
