Imperial Fleshcrownes are an active and playful breed. They are equally good at flying and climbing and while they are not good swimmers, they love to take an occasional dip. Fleshcrownes live in large social groups called “communities.” Adult Fleshcrownes share the responsibility of looking after the young, who are very playful and active. Even after maturing, they retain their curious and mischievous natures, often getting into trouble. The fleshy crowns on their head can be raised at will, and are usually erect when happy, excited, or scared. Fleshcrownes—being a very peaceful breed—are more prone to flight than fight. If threatened, they can raise their crowns while hissing in an attempt to scare off predators.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mako is very active and goofy. He gets a lot of exercise from excessive flying and climbing. He also runs a lot, which is slightly odd for his breed. He's agile and flexible from all his exercise. He's very energetic. When he's not spending his energy, he's usually with friends. He has a very good sense of humor, but his hyperactive behavior is also amusing to his friends. He'll dance, prance about, or sometimes roll in leaves. He gets pretty crazy when he's too hyper; what he does when he's really excited is almost unexplainable. Other than being really active and silly, he's also a good friend. He's very lovable, but watch out when he gets hyper.
