Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has shiny fish-like scales and loves water.

And look! It has gotten bigger! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Somehow this little hatchling landed in a desert valley up in the mountains. No one knows how or why a waterbreeding little fellow like him made it there but most communities would have been very happy to have a special little hatchling like him. Not so this community of Nhiostrifes though. Sesterz didn't take long at all to make himself loathed by most, well technically ALL, of them. He simply doesn't know what he does wrong though. He just points out all the weird things going on in his home and tries to find reasonable explanations for Wyverns cursed to hover at a fixed point in space, timetravelling Wyverns, Wyverns pretending to be Frills etc.. The only one who shares his opinion that these things are weird is Perfect Carlos but even he can't really stand little Sesterz and his annoying way of pointing stuff out and screaming out his conspiracy theories.
