Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Silver Ice, known as Silv among the Rain Clan, takes after his father, Strike. He loves his color, his life, his pride. He is being trained by Strike so that he can be useful to the hatchling spies. Normally he leads the way if he and his comrades are sneaking around in the dark, using his bright glow to give light. He spends quite a bit of his time making sure that his valuable scales are in top shape, never letting a single one get damaged or dirty.
