As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Tr'athn'ona, being true to her breed, is a rather reclusive dragon. Shy and easily intimidated by large groups of dragons, Tr'athn'ona spends most of her days curled up in her cavern, either in quiet thought or sleeping. At night, she perches herself on the highest peak of the cliff side her clan resides in and gazes at the stars. Tavurth is her only friend. As a Nocturne dragon, he is only able to move about at night and Tr'athn'ona is often the first dragon he sees upon waking. Were in not for Tavurth's company, Tr'athn'ona knows she would be lonely and is grateful to have him as her friend.
