Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Those who return from the mountains tell strange tales, and this is one of them. Explorers have spoken of collapsing in the snow, exhausted and near death, only to have a great azure dragon appear before them--and happily ask them if they'd like a cup of coffee.

The dragon then carts them off to what appears to be a massive log cabin, warms them up, gives them a hot meal, and slaps them if they won't stop screaming their silly heads off. He then proceeds to chatter happily away to the stunned human, brewing delicious coffees all the while. Once the human has recovered their senses, he offers them lodging for the night, if they want it; but he is inevitably disappointed when they weakly say they'd rather go home. He's a good soul, and flies them back to their native village before disappearing--leaving them to tell the tales of the strange coffee house dragon.
