Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Exiegencia is not a troublemaker, but she IS aggressive and eager to join a ruckus. She does her best to advance the conflict between Dire Earth and Terrorbolt, because she truly believes that Dire would win—and that would advance her own position in the pack.

Oddly, no one else (with the exception of Dire, Bolt, and a few of the other males) seems terribly interested in something as intangible as "position" or "rank". For most of the pack, simply being part of the group is enough. The magic of the scroll that binds them together is not dependent upon status or power—but Exigencia is determined that, necessary or no, she will be linked to the male that wins this particular battle.
