Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

'Dark' would be considered by many to be an outcast of the cave she oftentimes picks battles with Remiera she cannot win, as well as trying to steal the other dragons' eggs, food, and gold. Quick-thinking and sly, she lurks in whatever shadows there may be, slipping out to hunt in the early hours of dawn and dusk. Unlike many other drakes, Dark can see perfectly well in the halflight, and taking this to her advantage is this Black's specialty.

When she first came to the great Cave, she felt lost and alone... Never thinking of any Black dragon to become her mate and alas, that is true to this day. Because of her fox-like nature and dark ways, others tend to avoid her Verridith only allows her under a carefully watchful gaze. But even that does not stop her. The fate of the Vystrian dragons, if Blazeh is indeed slain, is unknown.
