Copper Dragons are masters of stealth, slipping silently and swiftly through the forests and jungles where they live. Often hunting in groups, their prey rarely know they are being stalked until the dragon’s at their throat. In the air they are agile and skilled. Copper Dragons prize family groups, spending large amounts of time teaching their young skills. So great is their love of life and family that they will sometimes adopt orphaned dragons of other breeds to raise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Copper dragons in the clan tend to have the role of assassin or spy assigned to them due to their tremendous stealth, strength and hunting skills. Hesiod Heraclius is one of the top assassins in his clan. The key to his success is his flexibility. Hesiod is able to re-survey a situation and take a different approach if necessary. This makes him very adaptable and versatile. Hesiod is ambitious, persistent and determined which is shown through a power hungry, controlling attitude. Many clan members feel mixed about Hesiod, some admire him while others hate his attitude. Hesiod is known for his creative training exercises to make him more stealthy. He trains by hunting shadow walkers, dragons known to become immaterial if they want to. After years of work Hesiod is perfectly able to capture shadow walkers by immobilizing them when they least expect it by his specialized sneak attacks. He has become famous for it in his clan and therefore gotten the nickname "copper ninja" due to this.
