Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Golden Coil is her name. Her origin is unknown. She is of legend. She is in many a song, her legend is known of great. Here is the tale: Golden Coil emerged from the sun it's self, fully in flight as only a hatchling. She crashed down to earth in a great ball of fire, blinding all who looked at her. She fell and fell, till she hit the small lake on a dragon guardian's doorstep. The human took her into her care for two days and two nights, until the mysterious hatchling roared with the might of a loin, finally exposing her true power. The hatchling jumped to the windowsill in one great leap, then took flight into the morning sun. She was never seen again, though some claim to see her flying threw the morning sky, a brilliant star, blazing threw the morning dew. Silent. Powerful. Amazing.
