Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

MoonlightDelta is a bossy and conceited Black Dragon queen. She wants to be in charge of every single aspect of her life, and in charge of everyone in it. In fact, MoonlightDelta thinks that there is no other dragon as intelligent or better suited to leadership than herself. She doesn't trust anyone else to get things done "properly" and at the right time, not even her human owner. MoonlightDelta actually does get a lot accomplished, by bullying dragons until they just do what she says to get her to leave them alone. But no one really respects MoonlightDelta, and she has few friends. More like a small group of dragons that will tolerate her when she ISN'T micromanaging them.
