Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It was born with a full set of wings.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Lyrett and the Magical Earplugs is just another misunderstood hatchling. Lyrett, as it calls itself, likes to hide in a box to fantasize about its imaginary world. At least, the other dragons think it's imaginary. This hatchling often talks about its world, rambling on about a pair of magical earplugs that will transform dragons into kumquats and vice versa. The other dragons simply laugh at its beliefs. Consequently, little Lyrett put itself on a quest; to prove the existence of the earplugs and the magical world.
