Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Oniisan's name means "brother". He was named because he, and the other two female silver tinsels are all siblings. His sisters are Aruna of Soul (or 'Aruna' for short), and Rukan of Soul (or 'Rukan' for short). The three silvers cannot yet be official breeding dragons because they do not have an unrelated mate. Oniisan definitely acts as a brother for Aruna and Rukan. Constantly guarding his sisters, the only love he ever understood was for his family. Other dragons believe he will not understand adapting to a mate when Moonsoul finds one. The brother has yet to face a new compassion.
