When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Mishi Gumee is the second of the five powerful Gumee brothers, and his big brother's de facto lieutenant on most ventures. Mishi is an exceedingly swift swimmer and a capable fighter among his kind, though it is seldom that he chooses to demonstrate this second attribute except in defense of his clan; he is genuinely comfortable letting big brother lead the tribe. A bit less headstrong and unpredictable than his big brother, he very often gives good advice and helps keep things organized in the water dragons' section of the flooded part of the Java Tiger's cave. Still, once Mishi's mind is made up upon any subject there is very little hope of changing it; an unfortunate fact big brother learned a long time ago. Indeed, Mishi never does ANYTHING purely because big brother said so and, being the leader's brother, is just about the only water dragon male that can get away with that sort of insubordination. All the water dragons know it, and know that it won't change any time soon either.
