Imperial Fleshcrownes are an active and playful breed. They are equally good at flying and climbing and while they are not good swimmers, they love to take an occasional dip. Fleshcrownes live in large social groups called “communities.” Adult Fleshcrownes share the responsibility of looking after the young, who are very playful and active. Even after maturing, they retain their curious and mischievous natures, often getting into trouble. The fleshy crowns on their head can be raised at will, and are usually erect when happy, excited, or scared. Fleshcrownes—being a very peaceful breed—are more prone to flight than fight. If threatened, they can raise their crowns while hissing in an attempt to scare off predators.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

She was only a young dragon when she first heard of them; frilled dragons, marvelous beasts with marvelous crests, an ancient and admirable race that had vanished in a most abrupt and mysterious way. Not one to squander opportunity, the young scamp decided that--having a frill herself--she was CLEARLY the new and improved version of the breed, and everyone should worship her as such. Of course, the trick only works on those who have never seen either her breed or the original frills themselves, but as an adventurer she's always up for the challenge of finding such a band of backwater folks!
