Siyat Dragons are extremely smart and have an excellent memory. They are very quick and will often dive through the air making chirps and calls for attention if they feel ignored. Siyat dragons are herbivores and need to eat a lot to make up for all the energy they use with their excitable nature. Groups of Siyat Dragons have a hierarchical structure based on the color of their markings. It is thought that the social status of a dragon is determined by its incubation period—in addition to having different coloration, dragons allowed more time to develop are considered wiser and of higher status.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Chirplilac has recently been appointed by the Lord Flameflow himself, ruler of the Weyr of Flame, to a very important task. She wishes he'd picked any other dragon.

Apparently she drew Lord Flameflow's attention for her powers of deduction when she helped untangle a particularly convoluted case of mana theft from the Weyr stores. Chirplilac doesn't really think she was THAT clever, and she certainly didn't want to join Flameflow's peacekeepers, who sniff out and deal with traitors or threats to the Weyr.

But apparently, that's what's happening, like it or not. As has been explained to her, there was an incident in some human village in the southwest territory. Something to do with a festival being raided. The humans were very upset, and when humans get upset, that can be trouble for dragons.

So Chirplilac has been appointed to discover what happened in the village that night all the fermented milk went missing and bring to justice the dragon responsible for the Great Cheese Theft.
