Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Skidler is so named, as he likes to scuttle around like a crab, and crawl around with his belly close to the ground. Also, he likes to hang from branches and poles with his tail, and swing back and forth like a seesaw. When night comes he will usually go outside and hunt for bugs and frogs to eat, but if he catches a frog that is to big for him to eat, he will throw it up in the air and then try and catch it, just for his amusement.
