White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Morte-ra was used to healing other dragons but the war that had begun in the wake of a great flood was giving him too much work, and as he was the only dragon in Orcasia with the ability to heal, his patience was beginning to wear thin. He had enjoyed life before the war had started, enjoyed diving through the sky at incredible speeds and had also enjoyed healing when it was required. The war had changed everything for him and it had begun to turn him into a bitter mage who preferred to live on his own and travel away from those who needed him. Perhaps one day, Morte-ra would be able to live like he used to and just enjoy being alive but with the war growing ever larger, there didn't seem to be much hope left.
