Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Leif the Large Lizard is an unusual dragon in that he named himself. As a hatchling, he became very fond of the name Leif and the Mint hatchlings that were being raised with him. He knew he was a very special dragon, but failed to see why he should not play with the adorable little Mints. One day he overheard a human berating the Mint breed, saying, among other things, that they resemble 'large lizards' and shouldn't be considered a dragon at all. Leif, being a peaceful dragon by nature and knowing that humans liked to kill other dragons of his breed for their shiny scales, did not confront the human; but he adopted his name in solidarity with his Mint friends.
