Harvest Dragons are a large, flightless breed most often found in heavily forested mountains. Normally shy, these omnivorous dragons keep to themselves in remote regions, but in the fall they descend from their high territory to search for food—and lots of it. During the autumn months, harvest dragons will eat whatever they can find, from large and small animals to nuts and fruit. In the winter they retreat into large caves and hibernate until spring, living off the fat they have built up.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

If there's one thing this gluttonous dragon loves more than food (or, well, at least just as much as food), it's gold. Fascinated by the glitter and shine of the precious metal, she often pilfers away coins and other small treasures while raiding human houses for food, a habit of hers that's made her doubly unpopular with the locals. So strong is her obsession with gold that she even chose her mate because he shared its color... although the fact that he's also handsome and charming and clueless might have a little bit to do with it too. Or a lot. But she really does appreciate that he's also shiny.
