As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Echo of the Long Lost Sun is commonly known as Echo. His sharp hearing lead other dragons to believe he can use echolocation. One day a hatchling was out exploring some caves when it fell down into a hidden cave-shaft. All the dragons became panicked and in the chaos Echo slipped away. He had heard the hatchling wander off while out hunting the night before and though the sunlight stung he bravely snuck off to find the lost hatchling. He found the cave and used the echo of his growls to find the hidden cave shaft, rescue the hatchling, and return home. Echo of the Long Lost Sun became a hero.
