Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It won’t leave other dragons alone.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Percival is always in trouble and doesn't seem to learn that annoying the other dragons is a bad thing. It has barely escaped several brushes with Ripley Emberheart, a vicious Hellfire wyvern, and it persistently bothers Xuchilbara to play when the Red dragon clearly isn't interested. Percival is a sweet little hatchling, though, and it really means no harm. Only other hatchlings and adult Misfit dragons seem to tolerate it.
