Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Slashtail is yet another hunter of Wingcastle. She is fierce and a distinguished hunter, respected by her cavemates. However, they would not admire her near as much if they knew what she had done. She had always, as a hatchling, wished to be chosen to be a messenger. When she learned that her destiny led her to the hunter's path, she was heartbroken. She did not believe herself when she fell in love with Flyingwind, a messenger dragon, for she had promised herself that she would never have anything to do with the noble dragons again. However, she soon was swept away with her love for the benign skying dragon and laid a forbidden egg with both common and noble blood.  With this burden in her mind, she made the tough decision to give her egg away and hope that it would be cared for.
