Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Histin is the oldest dragon on listed on the scroll, found abandoned by his owner on a pile outside the cave. He is Fiedimida's long-time mate and the wise dragon everyone goes to ask for advice to. He's gentle, although he loses his temper more often than Fiedimida, and his lack of exercise is making him a little fat. Neither does he like the gang of Vampire dragons, whom he always tries to keep away from the newly found eggs. He also has little respect for Holidays', especially Valentine's Day dragons, as he seems them as showoff dragons with pretty colors and no substance. He spends most of his time sleeping inside humid places. His favourite napping sites include the basement, a spot near the lake and, in extremely hot summers, his owner's wardrobe.
