Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. SunLight is a very studious and intellectual dragon. She loves reading books about history and challenging others into quizzes, which of course, she always wins. She had many friends in her colony, but when they became adults, she was quickly turned out to be the only one without a mate. She then tried to find a mate for herself, but none of them won her heart, as she never liked men who only cared about strength rather than smarts. Desperate to find her true love, she left her colony in search of her rare pearl. She then saw this silver blue dragon that somehow got her attention, and to this day she still doesn't know why. She then got to know him, but realized it was another male like those back in her colony. Even though SunLight constantly rejected him, he still kept trying to get her attention. This continued for weeks. When he finally asked her what kind of mate she was searching for, she told him she needed a smart mate. As she told him, his eyes shone in victory.
