Among the most elusive of dragon breeds are the Aeon Wyverns, a breed whose innate control over time mana marks them singular and great. They are able to peer into the multi-dimensional plane of time, seeing all that is, all that has been, and all that could be—within a small localized zone. When utilizing particularly strong magic, the black markings carved into an Aeon’s body glow a bright cyan, painting them in an ethereal blue light. In the past, they have been sought after as oracles to bring swift resolutions to major conflicts, but it is in exactly such sorts of times that they are nowhere to be found; rather than influence the outcome, Aeons much prefer to allow the natural order of things to progress, however grim that may be.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

With his cool intellect and refined manners, it is little wonder that this Aeon is one of the most well-respected members of the flock and the unofficial leader of his little dysfunctional group of friends.

Shortly after maturing, JP disappeared from the flock to go and study the world around him. The dragon that returned did so with chests laden with medicinal herbs from far off lands and scrolls filled with spells and recipes.

Once he had settled down again, JP began teaching his new-found medical wisdom to any who would listen, and soon many began to listen, though there is debate as to whether this was due to what he was saying or due to a rich deep voice that seems so soothing.

Though, the fact that his method of healing is based on borrowing magic from his scrolls and herbs (something an Aeon should not be able to do), the use of an odd sceptre in his healing and that he refused to join The Queen's Shadow make some of the flock wary of the Aeon now known as "The Witch-doctor".
