Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

On a sunny summer day, the human girl Ember Nuria stumbled upon an egg changing colors in the sunlight. She brought it to her home in the tallest mountain of Elgar were she had raised so many other dragons. When the egg hatched under her careful watch, a small hatchling emerged, more beautiful than any Ember had ever seen. The dragon was named Siria Nuria, and she grew up quickly. Siria loved the sun. Every spare moment she had was spent basking in it, shinning gloriously in its light. All the other dragons raised by Ember admired her splendid scales, and Samson Nuria, a usually hot-tempered creature, actually spent time with her. Although Siria was strictly an air and land creature, she made friends with a Two-finned Bluna named Sappir. Sappir was raised by the human Flight, the good friend of Ember and the only other human known to be residing in Elgar. Siria continues to live with Ember on the tallest mountain of Elgar, and she often flies down to the lake of Elgar to visit Sappir.
