Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Weissroeckchen loves nothing more than the perfection of unsoiled, freshly fallen snow. He loves to be the first dragon to get up in the morning to see the spotless white blanket covering the world, and he will go out of his way to discover places not regularly frequented by dragons or other creatures so he can enjoy the beauty of it. Weissroeckchen has been known to get quite violent if another hatchie won't stop from putting snow dragons or paw prints onto such a perfect surface.
