Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Talagand is, like most black dragons, a born leader. He is still young, but has quickly learned how to be a leader of a flight, even without fighting and showing his strength. He is diplomatic, and wins most of his fights by arguing; his weapons being logic and a stern gaze.

This does not mean he doesn't enjoy a good fight, but as Talag noticed at an early age, you will do better as a protector, if you aren't dead already.

When occasionally looking after the hatchlings, he studies them like a scientist would study a rare fossil. Maybe he is looking for an heir, or maybe trying to find opponents while those are not a problem.

His emerald eyes burn through the dark at night, when he is watching out for his flight, being like gemstones in his black face.
