Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fallen Leaf was one of the first dragons to hatch at Mt. Xyxephrien. He is considered by many to be a wise and revered consort of the Alpha she-dragon, Lady Rose, although he is not the Alpha drake, a position held by Ember Blaze.

Fallen was incredibly surprised and pleased when Rose asked for him as her mate when she and Winter Moon were judged unable to conceive together, and she has had many of his hatchlings.

Before joining the Twilight Risers, Fallen was the Alpha drake of the nearby Wildflowers Flock, a mainly earth-dragon flock. His fellows and family rejected him when he fell in love with Rose, and he left his flock to join Rose's.

Within the Twilight Risers, Fallen is in charge of hunting for the less able dragons, whether they be young, old, or sick. He was named 'Master of Hunt' by Rose, and is a respected figure among his and other flocks.

Fallen helped Winter Moon and Rose write the Dragon Code, and is a fair and caring leader.
