Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Sitting alone on the highest peak of the snow-capped mountain, Astino surveys the territory and the bordering regions. Snowflakes as soft as cotton gently drift down and melt against his hide. Occasionally one will land on his slender nose and he will go cross-eyed trying to see its beautifully frail pattern before it fades away. <br/>At night Astino gazes up at the silver stars and looks for his favourite constellations. Their gentle glow in the heavy dark of the night sky is more beautiful to him then even the most precious of gems. <br/>More then anything he wishes that could fly through space and the stars he so adores, but the deep coldness of the black skies is more then even he can withstand, and so he remains stranded on his snowy mountain peak.
