Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dimar's Delight is Dimar's first grand-dragon.  Truly a delight, to both his father, Dimar's Pride, and grandfather, Dimar.  When he soars above the clouds, he is taking all his father and grandfather's hopes and dreams with him.  A heavy weight for one so young.  But like his family before him, Dimar's Delight lives for the joy of flight.  Although an adult, he is still young enough to have to be told to come in and rest, he would much rather be racing another Skywing.  He is known throughout the cavedom for his aerial antics. Like his father, Delight has total disdain for anyone who is content to be on the ground! If not forced to come down by his parents, Dimar's Delight would choose to never land!
