White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pianississimo is, as her name suggests, a very quiet dragon.  She prefers to live alone in the forest with little to no contact with any other living beings, save for the forest itself.  She has learned to hide in the shadows, avoiding predators and well-meaning creatures alike.  Despite her dislike for sentient company, she will help any creature in need of healing, although she prefers to work with those who have already passed out, approaching them silently, healing them as best she can, then spiriting back into the forest before they come to.  

Her staff is that of a sturdy old willow, its bark gnarled with age and weather.  In one particularly strong storm, a large branch fell from the tree.  Pianississimo picked it up, for she felt drawn to it and its hard, rough bark.  She has carried it with her ever since, though she can never explain why.  It is simply one of the oddities of the dragon mind, something that no one can ever truly understand, and that many have no wish to.
