Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cloud sprinter has been given it's name due to, it likes to glide amongst the clouds. Also when it is raining he will fly beneath the clouds, and catch the rain in his mouth, and when his mouth is full of rainwater he will spit out a thin jet of water into the air, just to amuse himself. But when it is hailing he will avoid flying at all costs, even if there are very strong winds, because he likes nothing but to just glide, and relax as the wind takes him into the air. But when the air stops pushing him through the clouds, he will make his wings flat across his back, and then go into an extremly fast free-fall. And just moments from the ground, he will expand his wings like a parachute, and come safetly back down to earth.
