Turpentine Dragons are named for the oil that covers their scales. This oil resembles turpentine in odor and is mildly toxic; it will not kill but it burns to the touch and will cause illness in anyone who ingests it. Turpentine Dragons roam in large packs, often stealing food from larger dragons, though they are able to hunt for themselves if necessary. Many other breeds consider Turpentine Dragons to be pests, so they primarily breed among themselves.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Qi is one of the many daughters of Kentaro and Kiyomi and was raised alongside her nest mates Xiaoli, Xiaobo, and Ling. She was the third to hatch; and by the time she started breaking out of her shell, her parents no longer thought that the goo covering the eggs had killed the babies within. However, when Kiyomi gathered the babies to her, she was burned by their oil. She was okay, but worried. The oil didn't seem to hurt the hatchlings though. They named Qi "Wondrous" in Chinese. Qi has always been a curious and adventurous dragon, and enjoys finding new things. She is best friends with Ling, Meifen, and Huian. She is mated to Xiaoli, the love of her life. Even when they were hatchlings, it was clear they weren't going to be siblings. They always treated each other differently, and once they matured, their love was set in stone. They love each other so much, and they always will. They are soul mates, and their love will last til the end of time.
