Pyralspite dragons are small, swift dragons that can breathe an intensely hot flame. They get their name from their resemblance to and affinity for garnets of the pyralspite family—they hoard such gems, preferring garnets that match their variant, and can tell the type of garnet from how it tastes. The orange variant is called Spessartine. These Pyralspites are more fun-loving and mellow than others, and are optimistic as a whole. Their preferred habitat is coastal areas.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

More terrifying than the Vampires and more dangerous than even the Desipises are the horrible creatures called moogles. Lumenis has sworn his life to ridding Valekmare of the vermin -- a noble cause, if it weren't for the slight problem that moogles don't exist. He swears he has seen packs of them ransacking villages, most notably the case of Alliset. The town does have an abundance of problems (ninety-nine, according to Lumenis, with moogles accounting for seventy-six), however moogles aren't even one of them. His hoard contains "trophies" that he claims to have taken from moogle hordes, such as skins, teeth, and scraps of clothing, all of which he found in ruined encampments generally wasted by hostile rogues. Of course he has never actually been able to give a detailed description of his made-up monsters, though he fails to see this as a problem. Luckily most take him with a grain of salt, though he has managed to recruit a couple of zealous apprentices in the past.
