Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

With failed relationship after failed relationship, Radomir is one of the loneliest (and arguably unluckiest) dragons on the island. He's suffered so many break-ups over the years that he's even compiled a list of things not to do when in a relationship (which is currently hanging in Mahlah's cave-library, so young dragons can read it when they need some advice).

It isn't Radomir's fault he's so bad at relationships, it's just that bad luck seems to strike in the unlikeliest of situations. If there's only one thing that gets under a female dragon's skin, he'll end up inadvertently doing exactly that.

It could be that it's Radomir's fate to live alone. Or maybe it's just that he's subconsciously waiting for the perfect mate to appear.
