Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Violet can have a wicked temper like his father! Most the time he is calm and charming, unlike his father, he only prefers his own kind. He uses his strong tail to take off, like a spring in a couch. Getting started is very troublesome. He can be quite a sloppy flier, too.

He gets a fierce attitude when it comes to his father! He'll get into many fights over the females they woo over. Females feel bad for him at every fight, mainly because he loses every time. His young that look more like him for some reason have more of their mothers personality.  

Hunting is simple. His breath smells terrible, with this advantage, he can easily attract other small sized predators. Unlike his father he only eats buzzards and wild dogs. To do this, he plays dead, once pray comes close... "SNAP!" Goes his jaws.
