Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its skin is smooth and doesn’t seem to have any color to it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Klya has a huge crush on Klik. Klya was frozen on accident just like Klik, but she was frozen older and has wings. Though Klik looks younger than Klya, he is actually older. Klya thinks this doesn't make a difference; she's so in love with Klik. Her little crush is obvious to Klik, but he pretends it isn't. Klik has no intention of falling in love with any dragon. Klya has attempted to woo Klik countless times, but her attempts are futile. Klya doesn't care that Klik is uninterested; she's sure he'll change soon enough.
