White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bianca d'Lafayette is the third among her brethren in the Lafayette clan. She was found buried in two feet of snow that a massive blizzard had left in its trail. Apparently she was taken from her mother's side in the midst of the snow storm; it was almost impossible to find her white, fragile egg in all the snow. But Nile, who was only a hatchling back then, found the egg in her daily morning walk that day; a few more hours and Bianca would have frozen to death. Bianca hatched three weeks later with the very first snowdrops that were starting to bloom.
