Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Grandchild of a family that would most certainly someday be awesome and famous, all her life this dragon was told the same thing over and over: that as soon as she was a fine strong adult she'd have to take a handsome desipis mate and make babies, continuing on their grand line until the day it was seven generations long and would make the coolest family tree tapestry EVER! She agreed... only to later go and eat some herbs that made her quite unable to produce eggs at the time right before marrying her handsome hulk of a husband. Needless to say this earned the outrage of her family members ("DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG THIS PLAN WILL TAKE IF YOU AND YOUR KIDS ARE BRATS ABOUT IT RAH RAH RAHHH") and got her name changed from Nowiheart (in honor of a very cool lady dragon ancestor) to Nowayheart, but she didn't mind; spending a few years with her mate before they had cute little babies would be just as fun as skipping ahead!
