The egg faded away completely; in its place there’s a cute baby dragon. It doesn’t seem to have much substance, though.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Wisp is quiet and tends to stay out of the way of most other dragons. It likes to sneak away from its adult caretakers and hunt for small mammals like mice and voles. Despite being so young, it can easily disappear and reappear at will, which makes it a better than average hunter. Wisp also loves anything sweet, and will occasionally go out briefly in the daytime in search of nectar and honey.
