Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It loves to bask and play in the sunshine.

It’s gotten slightly bigger and its colors have changed! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Schemer is always up to no good and with her new wings, she can find more ways of getting into trouble. She often butts heads with the hatchlings of the cave simply because she can, and her large size makes her very imposing. While not necessarily a bully, Schemer doesn't know which dragons are game for her roughhousing and which ones aren't, so she can assume wrong and get some of the more sensitive hatchlings in situations outside their comfort zone.
