Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Frostbite Dragons first appear at the beginning of winter, creeping in with the frosts. They have found their place in human lore as the spirits of snow, since they only reveal themselves during icy weather. In the depths of winter, they cover the world in blankets of snow and are believed to be responsible for the glittering frost that creeps over everything. Although they appear cold and distant, they are actually rather mischievous and enjoy spending time dancing through blizzards.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Microwave Frontier has both a name and a hobby entirely unsuited to who she is. Despite the fact that she is very much a frostbite dragon, her true passion is that of heat. Many have warned her of her dangerous ways, saying she is not a true frostbite dragon as long as she continues her studies, but she refuses to listen to them. Instead, she fanatically devotes all of her time to what she believes could become a miraculous way of heating things—the passing of a certain kind of tiny, invisible wave through objects, causing them to become hotter. While the exact nature of these so-called "microwaves" are unknown, she is forever in search of a way to harness and use their power, building various contraptions and machines which resemble everything from crudely constructed furnaces to elaborate facilities carved into the mountainside. Truly, she believes that she is on the verge of discovering an amazing new field—the "microwave frontier". This eccentric term has since become her name.
