Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Icicles keep forming on its body, but it doesn’t seem to be bothered by the cold.
And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

A friendly enough dragon, this little fellow continues the tradition of his grandfather--the ability to brew simply scrumptious coffee out of the barest of materials. And, indeed, these are the only sort of materials he can get his paws on, living on the high northern peaks as he does. This represents another problem beside ingredients, however; even when he manages to whip up a steaming cup of heaven, there's no one around to savor it! Accordingly, he's debating moving south when he's of age, heading close to the human cities...
