Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

From his frozen fortress of ice, this dragon rules over the north. No one comes or goes without him knowing about it. He tries to hide from humans, knowing that they are greedy evil creatures that would hunt him down purely for sport or bragging rights. Glacier is often visited by another Ice dragon named Sub-Zero who shares stories with him from his home in a secret ocean cove. Despite several invitations, Glacier has yet to visit Sub-Zero's paradise. He has heard rumors that several Magma dragons live there and has long since vowed to destroy any magma that dared enter his domain. Because of this vow he has refused his friend's offer time and time again to avoid unnecessary conflict.
