Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Raised alongside the wise sages of the dragons, Contentment must have had some wisdom and wonder brushed off on her. She often feels a deep compulsion to sit still for long periods of time and just think. Unfortunately, because of her ochredrake-ness, she does not get very far in contemplating anything and just daydreams. If she daydreams long enough, Contentment will slip into a deep sleep and dream of the most bizarre of things. These dreams seem so real to her, if it were not for the occasional hiccup in her unconscious that reveals that she is dreaming, she would probably think that she was wide awake. No one else knows about these dreams, and Contentment does not think they are important enough to tell anyone. If only Contentment knew that the dreams are disguised warnings from the ancient spirits, maybe then she would change her mind.
