Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A gentle soul, this quiet dragoness was 'reaped' at a young age to compete against twenty-three other 'tributes' in something called The Dragon Games, a yearly event in which hatchlings and some younger adults are forced to fight to the death in an arena by a mysterious entity called 'The Capitol Cave'. After a grueling ordeal, she emerged from her Games as the winner by outswimming the remaining tributes when the arena was flooded by the 'Gamedragons', the overseers of the Games. After being crowned the Victor, she was given a life of luxury, but she couldn't fully enjoy it. Because of severe mental trauma caused by her experience, she is often trapped in the tortured world of her mind, reliving the horrors of her battle, and many cruelly refer to her as 'broken' or 'mad'. The only one who she'll open up to and who pulls her out of her dark moods is Finnickstorm, a rather handsome fellow Victor from another year's Games. No one who sees the two of them together can doubt their love.
