Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!

Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
When pink Bayuxi dragged in the strange gray and blue egg, everyone in Mayfly Cave was puzzled. What kind of dragon could it be, they wondered. Never had they heard of it, but others in faraway lands had, and Bayuxi had mated with one of these new 'Guardian' dragons, carrying home this egg in some time. Upon hearing the name 'guardian', stone Zahth grew defensive of his position as the 'Granite Guardian' of Mayfly Cave. He was not to be pushed out of place just because the new baby was guardian by name and even built for such a task. Matriarch Ferreth was sympathetic to Zahth, though, as she had cared for his egg long ago when she was only just a hatchling, and assured him that he could keep his position as long as he wanted.<br/>Still, there are hard feelings between Banecurran, his family, and Zahth and his own family. Banecurran is a strong guardian, that is true, but he is selfish at best and often hateful.
