Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ziggy is a very ambitious dragoness, setting her standards high and stopping at nothing to reach her goals. She has heard a hundred stories about the dangers of traveling alone as a Gold dragon and has fully equipped herself with the skills necessary to combat even the most seasoned hunter. As a hatchling, she trained with Smite to improve her agility—managing to consistently give the Copper a run for his money. When she got a little older, she began fighting The Devil's Rejects to improve her strength and endurance. Though Devil brought her within inches of her life multiple times, she never gave up—using wit and sheer speed to outmatch the Magma when it seemed impossible to do so.

Much to Sky's dismay, she has absolutely no time for males and their silly mating rituals. Ziggy is far too busy training, hunting, and proving her worth to be a mother.
